10base-T - Definition
10base-T refers to 10 Megabit per second baseband Ethernet specification using two pairs of twisted-pair cabling (Category 3, 4 or 5). One pair is used for transmitting data and the other pair is used for receiving data. 10BaseT has a distinct limit of approximately 100 meters per segment.
