CCITT - Definition
CCITT is an abbreviation for Comit Consultatif International Tlgraphique et Tlphonique. It is a standards organization now part of the International Telecommunication Union, standardization sector (ITU-T). CCITT is the primary international body for fostering cooperative standards for telecommunications equipment and systems such as the CCITT V series specifications for modems.
