Flash Memory is a solid state, non-volatile, rewritable memory that functions like a combination of RAM and a hard disk drive. Flash memory is durable, operates at low voltages, and retains its data even when power is is not being supplied to it. Flash memory is used in devices such as digital cameras, cell phones, printers, handheld computers, pagers, car stereos and audio recorders etc.
