JScript refers to Microsoft’s version of JavaScript, which is built into the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser. It is a powerful scripting language targeted specifically for the Internet. It is implemented as a fast, portable, lightweight interpreter for use in Internet web browsers, such as Mozilla Firefox, and other applications that use Microsoft ActiveX Controls, Automation servers, and Java applets.
