OLE - Definition
OLE is an abbreviation for Object Linking and Embedding, developed by Microsoft. It is a method by which applications can share information. OLE allows you to Cut something from one application, such as Microsoft Excel and Paste it into another, such as Microsoft Word and then edit the object in place.
