Windows Vista™ provides power settings that help you conserve battery power during your normal computer use. These settings include power plans that balance battery usage and system performance. You can also adjust settings that control when the computer enters Sleep mode.
To Conserve Battery Power During Normal Computer Use
- Click the Start button located in the lower-left corner of the Windows Vista desktop.
- Then click on Control Panel.
- Now click on Mobile PC.
- Review the options displayed under Power Options.
- Clicking an option displays additional information and enables you to change power settings.
