QuickTime - Definition
QuickTime is a multi-media software program developed by Apple Computer. I provides a method for storing and playing sound, graphics, and movie files. If you see a MOV file on the Web, then you’ll know it’s a QuickTime file. Although, QuickTime was originally developed for the Macintosh, player software is available for Microsoft Windows and other platforms. If you don’t have the QuickTime movie player, you can always download it for either Mac or PC from Apple’s Web site.
