TSR - Definition
TSR is an abbreviation for Terminate and Stay Resident. It typically refers to a program that is loaded into memory but doesn’t execute until it recognizes a certain keystroke or event. For example, a screen-saver is a TSR program that runs when it observes a period of system inactivity.
